Mitchell Zuklie

Mitchell Zuklie focuses on the formation, financing and corporate counseling of technology businesses.  He has completed several hundred venture capital financings and numerous public offerings, mergers, acquisitions and technology licensing transactions.

Mr. Zuklie has been cited as a leading lawyer in a number of practice area directories includingChambers USA America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and The Best Lawyers in America.

Mr. Zuklie leads Orrick’s global Corporate Business Unit (the firm’s Capital Markets, Compensation & Benefits, Emerging Companies, M&A and Private Equity and Tax groups) and serves on the firm’s Board of Directors.  Mr. Zuklie has held various other management positions within the firm, including serving as Managing Director of Orrick’s transactional practices.

Mr. Zuklie has represented numerous venture capital clients, including Accel Partners; Benchmark Capital; Bessemer Venture Partners; Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers; Mohr, Davidow Ventures; U.S. Venture Partners; and Sequoia Capital. He is a managing member of Orrick’s venture fund.  Mr. Zuklie has also represented investment banks such as Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Credit Suisse First Boston.

Mr. Zuklie was one of the authors of the National Venture Capital Association’s model venture capital financing forms.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Zuklie was a director at Venture Law Group.
